Had the job as Photographer. over the 4 shows, backstage and photoshoots I managed about 900 photos. These were mostly taken with the 75-300mm except the group shots where I used my wide angle.

This character was one of the leads.

Okay been a while. I may have missed a few day. hence why I'm no longer posting the date. but instead ill just post photos until I get to 365. I found it much to hard trying to get a good photo each and every day.

But here's a photo of my sister I shot today which I think turned out nice.

Okay, I got kicked off the computer.

But while I haven't been updating this blog Ive been doing other things. Ive been seriously looking for a bigger lens. Thinking of going for the Sony 75-300 or the Minolta 75-300. Ideally I want this - http://www.sigmaphoto.com/shop/50-500mm-f4-63-ex-dg-hsm-sigma. But its slightly out of my budget. Slightly.
Also Ive downloaded a program that lets me create HDR images. slowly getting the hang of it. HDR pictures involve layering up 3 identical pictures with different exposure into one photo. e.g I did this...


I turned this image (two more also at -2 exposure and +2 exposure) And using Photomatix i layed them up and edited them all.
Which turned into a image like this.















I like it.

Selective colouring - I believe this only works in some cases. Its became a wee bit of a cliche'd way to edit. But I still think it work for some photos.
